$1,000 Hurwitz, Whitcher, and Molloy Accident Injury Scholarship
At Hurwitz, Whitcher, and Molloy, Attorneys at Law, our Buffalo, NY, Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury lawyers value higher education and helping people in need. Attorneys Melvyn L. Hurwitz, Michael J. Whitcher, and Kathleen A. Molloy hold higher education in high esteem and want students and their families to receive the additional financial support that allows them to obtain the education they need and deserve to jumpstart their careers.
Our attorneys understand that college or graduate school can be a substantial expense. It can be extremely challenging in this day and age for individuals and their families to fund their education efforts. Between tuition, housing, books, and other needed supplies, the cost of attending college or graduate school can quickly rise into the tens of thousands of dollars.
Hurwitz, Whitcher, and Molloy, experienced and knowledgeable Workers’ Comp and Personal Injury accident attorneys in New York, want to help make things less expensive and overwhelming for students and their families. We are offering the $1,000 Hurwitz, Whitcher, and Molloy Accident Injury Scholarship to people who currently attend or are planning on attending an accredited United States college, university, or graduate school soon.
Essay Topic
To apply for our scholarship contest, applicants must submit a 500+ word essay on the following topic: What can motor vehicle operators do to help prevent the loss of lives on our roads and highways?
Consider this: The annual highway death toll is equivalent to a passenger jet crashing and killing everyone on board EVERY DAY of the year. Highway crashes and collisions represent the single largest category of accidental deaths, and they are the most common cause of death among children and young adults. How many of these deaths were avoidable or preventable? How can individuals, businesses, and/or government entities work to make a decline in the number of these fatalities a reality?
